Ron Leate’s Road to Recovery

*update*

————————————-
As of right now, only visitors on the visiting list given to the hospital by his family can or should visit.

His condition hasn’t changed. They’re keeping him sedated so he doesn’t move and he is still intubated.  They cannot operate on his lung until he’s able to breathe on his own. They are checking to make sure conditions are optimal to operate on his L4 spinal injury tomorrow (Wednesday 3/19).

As of now his daughter is asking that everyone hold off trying to visit him until he’s at least awake and in better conditions to see visitors. Once he’s awake and able to receive visitors, we will let everyone know. We appreciate the support that’s come in for him, please keep praying for him!

Hello friends

As you all know our friend Ron Leate was in a terrible motorcycle accident on Sunday morning. He is currently in the ICU, and has undergone several surgeries so far. His leg is shattered, arm broken, lung has been punctured due to broken ribs, and he has fractures in his lower back and his neck. The road to recovery is going to be long. He’s going to need help paying rent for Howe Road, and any other bills like his phone and insurance.

Ron has been there for *all of us* for many years, keeping the doors open and the lights on, at what was once the Diablo Valley Alano Club, and now known as the Howe Road meeting place. If you can donate anything at all to help with any bills, personal or Howe Road related, anything would be appreciated.

Joe and I, as well as Ron’s family will be donating everything we can to this cause on our own and we could sure use the support. This fundraiser has been started by myself on behalf of Ron and his children, to help cover any expenses related to his bills while he is incapacitated.
