Fundraiser to help our friends Ron and Katy Sears

2022 has been tough for a lot of people for many different reasons. Our dear friend Ron Sears has suffered through an especially difficult year. As you may know, after a routine knee replacement surgery, Ron’s legs went numb, which resulted in paralysis. After many months of trying to figure out why Ron had such an adverse reaction, the doctors still have no answers.

Many of you have asked what you can do to help with Ron and Katy Sears’ medical needs. We, as a band of friends, can make a huge difference by pitching in to significantly improve their living situation. Because he can’t go upstairs, Ron has had to sleep in the dining room, and he only has access to a half bath downstairs. Our goal is to install a lift so Ron can access their upstairs bedroom and bathroom. We would also like to install a lift from the garage into the house so Ron won’t have to use the outside ramp during inclement weather.

With the generosity of friends and community coming together, we can meet these goals, which would be such a blessing to their family. We have set up a bank account with Pinnacle Bank.
