Current fundraiser (September 2023):

Ron’s first fundraiser reached $6225 with 52 donors!  He updated us in March of this year of his progress of winning his latest battle with cancer. 

I just learned he is struggling again with monthly bills and currently is in the hospital fighting an infection. In typical Ron’s style he is getting stronger, but has not been able to make income for a number of weeks; again the bills are piling up and now with the current stay in ICU, well, need I say more about medical expenses.

So, I’m reaching out to you all again. A small contribution to help our friend stay afloat and to lighten the mental load of financial obligation.

From November 2022 fundraiser:

A small contribution could help in a big way for a multiple cancer survivor.

Ron Kabele, a talented soul whom you probably have seen his video editing prowess on PBS. His first diagnosis was in 2002 at the age of 42. Can you imagine -fighting cancer off and on for 20 years? This time he has 3 areas of concern which will involve heavy-duty treatments. Due to the intensity of this current round of chemo, he is physically incapable of earning an income until the treatment is complete. Living expenses and medical expenses are adding up quickly.

Indeed, times are tough for all. If you can give, just know “thank you” is full humbleness.
