Friends, our dearest Ron, has had an catastrophic event befall him..

just over a week ago Ron suddenly took ill with dizziness and weakness and was admitted to Markham Stouffville Hospital. They discovered that he had developed sepsis, at that point the cause unknown, with bloodclots in his lungs and kidneys.

This was completely unexpected and a shock to him and his family.

Doctors then discovered that he had abscesses on his spine, at which point he was transported to Sunnybrook for emerg surgery. He has come through that well, but will be in hospital for at least a couple of months, with rehab to follow.

I know how many people love Ron. I love Ron. I am asking for your help in supporting this amazing musician, our friend and colleague.
