Lindberg Park's beloved garbage man, Ron Johnson, is retiring after serving our neighborhood for 23 years.

In that time, he has touched countless lives. From all of the kids who have raced to the window to see him drive by or go chasing his truck down the street, to all of us grown ups whose days have been brightened by his megawatt smile, Ron is always positive and upbeat with an incredibly kind soul.

Simply put, there will never be another Ron Johnson.

Help us celebrate his career and send him off with our deepest appreciation & gratitude for his decades of service and kindness.

We're collecting contributions to present to him at the neighborhood-wide gathering at Lindberg Park on 12/21 at 8:30am.

Your contribution would mean a great deal to Mr. Johnson and his wife as they look forward to traveling and seeing their grandchildren upon retiring.
