Ron Furr's Memorial Fund

Ron "Serviceman” Furr, 61, served our great country for 30+ years in the Air Force and Air National Guard. Our father and husband passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at his home in Matthews, NC surrounded by family after a long and tough battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis and Lung Cancer.
Ron loved his country and all the people in his life! We have set up this memorial fund to help alleviate some of the costs as well as be able to donate to those that have helped us so much. We are donating funds contributed to our home church, Mill Grove United Methodist; the organization that took great care of my father, Hospice of Union County; and the celebration of life costs.
In lieu of flowers, we have set up this GoFundMe page to take donations in Ron's memory instead. We want to thank everyone for everything they have already done over the past few days as we feel the love and support from each of you.
