Ron Bush's Funeral Expenses

If you knew Ron, you know he loved his children and family more than anything in this world. Ron never stopped talking about how proud he was of his kids. He was hardworking and full of life. He was a joy to be around - if you weren’t laughing with him, you were laughing at him. He was an avid Peoria Rivermen hockey fan for over 20 years and attended nearly every home game. The void he leaves behind is immense.

It breaks our hearts to announce that he suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in his home on January 6, 2023. He has left behind the children he loved and cherished — Kaleb 18, Rachel 24, Rebecca 26, Hannah 28, and Stephenie 34. He also leaves behind both of his parents, 2 siblings, several grandchildren, and a plethora of nieces and nephews.

The amount of loss and devastation we have been through to this point is leaving us broken and grieving yet again. As many people that know our family are aware, our dad is preceded in death by our mom, Kim Annette Bush. She passed away in August of 2014 to Stage 4 Brain Cancer. Now, we carry the weight of this additional grief and navigating life without both our parents.

We are all working tirelessly to make arrangements. We hope to take this burden off of our grandparents as much as possible — because parents should never have to bury their babies.

All contributions will go directly toward Funeral & Burial expenses. We have adjusted our goal based on the quote given to us from the funeral home.
