While a severe infection is preventing medical staff from diagnosing the underlying issue, measures are being taken to heal the infection so that further testing can identify the root of the problem. Currently, medical staff are telling the couple that recovery time is completely unpredictable as the cause of the infection is unknown. While both Ron and Rach are self-employed, the financial future is concerning for this couple. When Ron is sent home, he will most likely need Rachel's care 24/7.
