The Ron Webb Family Fundraiser

Hello all,

My name is Lynne Walker and I have set up
this gofundme site to raise money for the
family of Ron Webb. Ron has been placed on
hospice for liver failure and his family is in
need of our help!  He is at home with Gina and their two boys, Logan and Daxon.  Their oldest son, Gabe, is away at college.  At this time,       Hospice nurses try to keep Ron comfortable    for what time is left.   

ABOUT RON


Ron graduated from Elk City High School in
1997 where he was an All-State football
player.  He has loved watching all of his sons
play ball and continue the tradition of being
a Big Elk!  He has worked in the oilfield since
he was 19 years old and his latest job was as    an oilfield consultant with Jack Tarkington.  He  loves the relationships he has made over so    many years with life-long friends through          school and work. Ron has had his difficulties as all of us have had at one point in life, but he      has loved his boys with all his heart and they  will need our help now to get through this.

 
MY CONNECTION

Gina is my cousin.  She is the most giving
person I know.  She has a heart for others and has always fought for what’s right in the
world.  She is burning the candle at both ends  to provide for her boys and comfort Ron.           Their boys are the most important people in     their lives. Gabe is 20 and a junior at OSU.         Logan is 14 and Daxon is 12 and both attend   Elk City Schools.  Although Gina has had her    trials, too, in losing her father to cancer,            mother to a stroke and then surviving a near   death accident in 2011, where she was in the hospital and rehab in OKC away from Ron and the boys for 6 months, she continues to put off her own needed surgery and put her family       first.  She and the boys will rely on their church family at OneChurch as well as their family      and friends in the days ahead.                                      

 


HOW YOU CAN HELP

I am asking you to donate to this cause to help with the many medical bills, household
expenses (he got his last check) and, sadly         soon, funeral costs.  I can not imagine the           heartache the boys will face nor the worry      Gina will endure trying to maintain the                 financial burden of a family all the while              helping the boys grieve and cope with the loss of their father.   In no way will a monetary gift  take the place of a life, but it can relieve some of the burden that is to come for Gina. I hope  you will join me in donating.

The need is great now and will be even
greater in the days and months to come.
