Romie Guerra is my sister. She was diagnosed with cirosis of the liver about a year and half ago and was working towards the possibilities of getting a liver transplant. She did her best to change her eating habits and follow her doctor's orders in order to be considered to get on the list, however she was going through a lot of sickness and was in and out of the hospital for several months. Through this whole process, Romie's faith in God never waivered, she knew that He was in full control and He had the power to do the miraculous or was going to take her home. This last visit to the hospital a full biospy test was done on May 11th revealing that she had only weeks left. While the news wasn't what she was hoping for, Romie's spirits were positive and knew it was time to meet her Maker. Her last request to the Lord was that she would be able to hold her grandson that was expecting to arrive on June 13th. Ethan John, Romie's grandson, arrived early on June 4th and she was able to hold him. Then the Lord called Romie home on June 8th. While our family is deeply saddened, we are truly grateful that God's hand was upon her life and He allowed us to have this precious time with her. Your giving will go towards paying her funeral expenses. We thank you for your time and giving towards this cause, anything truly helps. God bless you!
