Romero “Mero” Carranza 10.19.17 - 05.30.22

Hello, my name is Rebecca Romero. I am Romero’s Great Aunt. This fund is being set up at the request of and on behalf of Romero’s Mother, Andrisa Duran.

Romero “Mero” received his wings on May 30, 2022. He was 4 years old. Mero entered this world under some challenging circumstances. His doctors didn’t have a positive prognosis. But Mero, with the love and persistence of his amazing mom, fought hard every single day to prove science and medicine wrong. When doctors said he couldn’t, Andrisa said he could, and Mero did.

Mero was the bravest boy anyone could ever know. He fought a long, hard battle against his various medical conditions and ailments. He fought harder than most grown men could bear. He was able to do it all for and because of his mama. Their bond was unbreakable and they were inseparable. The rest of us were just lucky enough to witness it all and it was a true honor to have shared in his life.

We ask for donations of any denomination to assist Andrisa with any future expenses incurred to allow her time to grieve his loss.
