Hi, my name is Romeo Stone, I’m 15 years old and was accepted to represent Costa Rica in the 2022 ISA Junior World surfing championships. This is a dream come true I am so thankful for this opportunity but I need your help.

I had all of my surf gear stolen on Monday, May 9th. I was at a training camp for ISA and on the way home I got bumped off my flight and had to stay over night alone in a sketchy town without any dinner.  The people at the airport insisted that I leave all my surf luggage at the airport because it was safe and easy. When I got to the airport the next morning it was broken into all my equipment was gone ( they stole all my new boards, fins, leashes, board bag and other personal items )

I compete this weekend in Nosara at the final stop for the National Surf Contests in Costa Rica.  I’m honored to have been selected for the ISA world championships in El Salvador that is coming up soon ( May 27th).

The Costa Rican team does not have much funding and I need help to get to El Salvador for the World Championships.  I need help buying new surf equipment because all of mine was recently stolen.

This is my dream and anyone that helps fund me will be a part of it.  My mom and I will keep you posted with blogs and news of the events via Facebook and Instagram.

 

What I need: I ordered 5 custom contest boards that where all around $500 ($2500) , I need 2 new sets of fins ( $260), 5 new pads ($200), 3 new leashes ($110), 2 new travel board bags ($500-600), Plane tickets + board travel fees ( $1500), ISA inscription (around $300), Food ( $400), and a place to stay for my mom ( $1200) - I’ll will be staying with the Costa Rica team.
