Funeral and memorial for Romeo Aquino.

Dear friends and community,

We have set up this GoFundMe to help with the funeral and memorial expenses for Romeo Aquino. On February 8, 2024, Romeo passed away at home from a stroke. Romeo has been on disability since 2017 – the same year his wife passed away – as this wasn’t the first stroke he’s endured.

Unbeknownst to his family, Romeo had stopped paying for his life insurance policy due to his health and subsequently to his financial situation. To help with the financial strain of this tragedy, we are reaching out to family, friends and the community to ask for your support in helping cover the funeral and memorial expenses. Romeo’s wife passed away in 2017 from stage 4 uterine sarcoma and leaves behind his three children and one grandchild.

Any kind words below or donations – no matter the size – are deeply appreciated. Any contribution will make a meaningful difference in the financial burden left on the family for the funeral and memorial expenses.

With the permission of his immediate family, this GoFundMe has been organized by Romeo’s son-in-law. All funds raised will be given directly to the Aquino family to help with expenses of this tragedy.
