2 Year Old Roman's Fight Against Leukemia.
Donation protected
One of my best mom-friends in town and her husband, Andy, were recently given the traumatizing news that their son Roman (2), has been diagnosed with Leukemia.
Like many of us, they do not have extended family around and we all know the value and importance of a village. The journey they are about to experience with Roman will be long and intense on his little body. As a mom of a medically complex child, I know first hand how meaningful it is to have the support, encouragement, and prayers from your community during a tough time.
Please consider supporting their family through one of the ways below:
1. If you have the means to help support them financially through these next few months, it would be greatly appreciated - keeping up with normal life while living in a hospital is not easy... and the bills never stop adding up.
2. I am going to make a couple trips in the next few weeks down to the hospital to drop off a basket of goodies for Roman to keep his spirits up. If you'd like to add anything to the basket please message me & I will coordinate with you separately!
Roman loves Thomas the Train, Spidey, Cars, Trucks, Books, Sensory Toys, Music, puzzles, raisins, crackers, apples, pretzels, and veggie chips.
3. Hospital food over a long period of time is not the greatest. If you would like to send a homemade meal, or Venmo Jen & Andy for a coffee delivery or lunch over the course of the next few weeks please message me & I will coordinate that with you as well to make sure we are not doubling up dates.
The name "Roman" means strong and powerful & we have no doubt that this little boy is going to show us just how strong he is through this battle.
We serve a God who is the Great Physician and the Ultimate Healer. He is present with Roman in every moment and we know this is just the beginning of how he uses Roman's Testimony for the good of his Kingdom.
