Support Roman Groves and His Family in His Final Battle with Ewing Sarcoma

In January 2023, during what should have been the most exciting time of his life — his senior year of high school — Roman was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive childhood bone cancer.

Since then, he’s undergone 8 months of initial treatments, including three rounds of chemotherapy, and also radiation, and is now bravely attempting a fourth round of chemo for good measure. But despite every effort, the cancer has spread. His bone marrow is now full of cancer, and he’s experiencing severe pain in his hips, back, and jaw — with doctors warning that any area with bone may soon become a source of pain.

He’s currently experiencing numbness in his chin and jaw, and each day brings new physical challenges. Still, Roman has faced every step with strength beyond his years.

Just last week, he returned from a trip to Hawaii with his closest friends — a beautiful time making memories. Unbelievably, while he was there, his condition began to worsen rapidly. On April 12th, everything escalated. In the five days since returning, it has become clear that his time is heartbreakingly limited. Doctors have now given him an estimate of around 12 weeks to live.

We are raising funds to help ease the burden on his family and surround him with love and care in these final weeks.

Ewing Sarcoma may be rare, but Roman's spirit is one of a kind. He is incredibly kind, funny, brave, loyal, and loved deeply by all who know him.
