Help Roman Attend Alvin Ailey Dance School

My name is Roman Neal and I love to dance. I started dancing when I was six years old, and since then it has been my dream to dance professionally. I started dancing with the New Ballet Ensemble in Memphis when I was 11 years old, and with their help, I have just been accepted to the Alvin Ailey School summer program in their Junior Division!

The Ailey School is one of the top dance schools in the world. I am so excited about the opportunity to learn from the best dancers and choreographers, and I know this will help me grow and realize my dreams.

I am 14 years old and live in Memphis, Tennessee, so it is going to be hard for me to raise tuition, housing, and travel expenses to make it to NYC for this summer. My teachers at KMAM, and my dance ensemble at New Ballet have all been really supportive, and they are helping me find a place to stay and a chaperone for the trip. All I need is tuition to make this happen!

I have to raise $3,000 by May 10 in order to keep my spot at the Ailey Junior Division for the summer. It would mean the world to me to have the support of my friends and family. This summer could really change my life!
