I am posting this as a heartfelt ask, as a dear friend and employee of Roman and Rachel Kusayev owners of Roman K Salon.
On June 1 at 1:50am, a group of looters vandalized the ground floor Roman K TriBeCa Salon location, stealing their computers, inventory and destroying and breaking anything and everything they could. This is a devastating financial hit for Roman K, especially after closing all 3-of their salon locations in March, due to Covid-19.
With this new challenge, I do hope that the community that Roman K Salon has served for over 20-years can now find it in their hearts to give back.
It is my goal to help Roman and Rachel rebuild Roman K Salons, so they can come back stronger than ever.
I have watched Roman and Rachel built their business from the ground up, from 1-small start-up salon to 3-major New York City salon locations with a recognizable brand name and reputation in the city. I am always in awe of their hard work and dedication to their family, their business and their community, and in light of all the adversity their small business has faced, they continue to stay positive. Rachel and Roman, built their business from the ground up, laying every brick with heart and soul.
