Funeral expenses for Rom Kim

I’m completely heartbroken and never expected to write this.

It is with great sadness that I announce that my father, Rom Kim, has passed away due to a heart attack. He was a beloved friend, brother, husband, father and an amazing grandfather.

Most of you knew him from being the owner of the Plant City staple “Hole In One Donuts” on James Redman. If you ever had the chance to come in and try his donuts, you also knew how hard he worked and how much he enjoyed talking to everyone who came through the doors. As a Cambodian migrant, this was an American dream to have his own business and to put a smile on people’s faces every morning.

At this moment there is no certainty on when or even if we will reopen.

The business has been in our family for nearly 13 years and is a major source of our income. So we are starting this Gofundme to help pay for funeral costs and to help our family during this difficult time.
