Mhairi is een blij 15 jarige meisje die helaas rolstoel gebonden is vanwege haar conditie, namelijk Edwards syndroom. Helaas is onze 19 jaar oude auto niet meer te redden.

Mhairi woont in Dordrecht en bezoekt haar specialisten, haar dagcentrum en dagopvang in de regio. We willen haar graag zorgen dat zij deze noodzakelijke toegang tot haar zorgnetwerk behoud. Dat is afhankelijk van haar mobiliteit middels een rolstoel auto.

Voor dit doel hopen wij geld in te zamelen om te kunnen investeren in een rolstoel auto of busje.

Als een alleenstaande ouder is dit een onmogelijke investering om te bekostigen. Helaas worden deze investeringen niet vergoed door Nederlandse overheidsvoorzieningen.

Momenteel heeft Mhairi  geen toegang tot haar noodzakelijk zorgnetwerk zoals normaal.

Mhairi is a happy 15 year old girl who sadly is wheelchair bound due to her condition, namely Edwards syndrome.  Unfortunately, our 19 year old wheelchair accessible car is no longer serviceable.

Mhairi lives in Dordrecht, however visits her specialists, day care and respite centre in other cities in the region. We would like to see her continue accessing these facilities, which heavily relies on her mobility and transport. 

For this purpose we hope to raise funding to invest in a wheelchair accessible car.

As a single parent, this is a costly investment I am unable to afford.
Unfortunately, these costs are not covered by governmental agencies in The Netherlands.

At the moment, Mhairi is unable to access her usual network as before.
