ROLLING THE R’s takes the audience back to the heydays of disco through the eyes of three teenagers: Edgar, Vicente and Katrina. The trio explore their teen years while navigating the horde of excitable and unique characters of their Kalihi, Honolulu neighborhood. Written by award winning and best selling author R. Zamora Linmark, the play is packed with humor and music while taking us into the delicate journey of finding one’s truth and sticking by it, unapologetically. Produced by Aguas Arts & Ink. Directed by Francis Tanglao Aguas.

Other than sharing Zack’s fantastic play and the amazing talent of our cast, one of my main motivations producing this reading is to create opportunities for our theatre artists who are unable to make a living during this pandemic.
