From Eviction to Empowerment: Help Us Roll Toward Safety

Hi, I’m Trista—a mother, advocate, and founder of a trauma-informed nonprofit that helps survivors of abuse reclaim their lives through creativity, autonomy, and healing. My son is brilliant, and full of curiosity. Together, we’ve endured more than most families ever should.

Recently, we were wrongfully forced out of our home—Despite our initial efforts to protect it, legal and systemic failures allowed others to interfere, misrepresent, and dismantle the life we built. We were betrayed by people we tried to help, and now we’re left without a safe place to live while we fight this.

But we’re not giving up.

Our Vision

We dream of purchasing and retrofitting a home on wheels—a converted bus that will give us freedom, safety, and stability. It will be a space where my son can be homeschooled through hands-on, real-world experiences, and where I can continue building Chromatic Echoes 555, my nonprofit project that supports survivors through art, music, ritual, and emotional empowerment.

This mobile sanctuary will allow us to:

• ️ Secure a safe, private living space

• Provide Mason with a personalized, experiential education

• Create a mobile hub for survivor outreach and healing

• Stay together, protected, and self-sufficient—no matter what systems fail around us

What We Need

We’re asking for $10,000 to:

• Purchase a reliable converted bus

• Ensure the motor runs safely

• Finish building out the interior

• Move our belongings in and prepare for travel and outreach

This amount will allow us to get the bus here, make sure it’s road-ready, and begin the next chapter of our lives with dignity and purpose.
