Rolling toward a Cure for Mia Santacaterina

Mia and her family had their world turned upside down in March 2023 when Mia was diagnosed with Leukemia. Mia is a sweet, gentle, loving young 11-year-old, who is also resilient, strong and passionate. Mia is also a competitive roller skater at Astro Skate Orlando and won a bronze medal at the USA Nationals in July 2022. Skating, school and life at home came to a screeching halt once the diagnosis was received. Mia's mother Nathaly has had to quit her job to be with Mia at the hospital daily to help care for her. Mia's father Victor alternates overnights at the hospital with his wife so they can both do their best for Mia and at home for Mia's brother Meno (15yo). Due to Nathaly's loss of income, the family struggles to meet financial ends including Mia's treatment (which will keep her in the hospital for at least 6 months) as well as monthly expenses.
