Hi everyone, this is Riley. I've set up this GoFundMe for my boyfriend Nico. On 1/8 he was diagnosed with skin cancer and on Thursday (1/11) he was in an accident on his way to an appointment with the surgeon and the car was totaled. The good news is that we caught the cancer early enough that with the proper treatment, his prognosis is good! He is scheduled for surgery at the end of the month and we'll know more then. However, without a car, it will be extremely difficult to ensure we get to all of his appointments. We took an uber to one today and it was $100 round trip.

Thankfully, he was unharmed in the accident, but because we had an old car, repairing it wasn't an option. Insurance isn't coming through for us and we don't have the savings or credit to take on this new challenge on our own. We've decided to reach out for help during this very scary and unpredictable time. Funds from this GoFundMe will go toward Ubers to work/doctors and, we hope, help cover the cost of a new (used, cheap-but-not-so-cheap-it-breaks-immediately) car.
