As a result of the Pandemic, people have had no choice but to stay home and live very unhealthy, antisocial lives. This has taken a serious toll on their mental health. People old and young are desperate for live music and the magical moments that are made through its common enjoyment.
The Rollin Beats project was born in Sunnyvale, California, and it's devoted to bringing live music every weekend to San Francisco. We take our music cart to open air environments such as parks, beaches, and promenades all over the city. The cart is built to house a QSC KW181 Subwoofer, a Generac 3300 generator, and QSC k12.2 speakers. With your support we've been able to purchase the XDJ-RX2, so the cart is ready for any event and no longer relies on borrowing this crucial piece of equipment from our good friends. We can now take our cart anywhere in the spur of a moment.
Although we've come a long way with your support, we've invested about 3 times as much as what's already been donated thus far. We still ask for your ongoing support, as any donations help us pay for the expenses that come with owning and operating the cart. Since we live in Sunnyvale, an hour trip each way to SF is costly in gas expenses. We don't expect to recoup all of our costs doing free events, but any donations help us immensely.
Other streams of income are in the works, we hope to grow a YouTube channel with cinematically recorded sets, sell hand made merchandise, and rent out the cart for private events. Yes, we can throw your next party!
