Our brother, Marquis "Rollaway" Small, has experienced some unforeseen health challenges in the last few months. He's currently adjusting to life with generalized Myasthenia Gravis, a rare, chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disorder that causes weakness in the skeletal muscles, the muscles the body uses for movement. This has been an extremely challenging diagnosis considering Rollaway's preexisting mobility challenges.

This condition disrupts the communication between nerves and muscles, which causes debilitating fatigue, difficulty speaking, swallowing, and breathing. There is no cure, and managing gMG often requires lifelong treatment, frequent hospital visits, costly medications, and lifestyle adjustments that deeply impact daily living.

As you can imagine, the physical, emotional and financial toll has been unimaginable. We're raising funds to help cover costs insurance won't cover. Rollaway needs funds to cover at home care, medicine, and life expenses due to his even more limited mobility making it difficult for him to work. Every contribution received will be extremely impactful to Rollaway's quality of life.
