Roll for Vinny: A Scholarship in His Honor

Vince was more than a friend to us, he was a brother; our Jiu Jitsu community was his family. As we approach the one-year anniversary of his tragic loss, we would like to honor him by coming together to celebrate his life and legacy.

We’re excited to announce our 1st Annual Memorial Roll-A-Thon in honor of Vinny. The event will take place on Saturday, July 12th from 4–7 PM at our school, New Breed Jiu Jitsu, 3188 Southern Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.

Vinny’s gift was bringing people together and he loved doing it! This Roll-A-Thon is to do just that with our team and community while in addition raising funds for a cause that reflects Vin’s spirit. Vin was extremely generous with all that he had and was always about giving back. Whether it be through his time, monetary resources, or his technical skills; He was always pouring into people. It was never a surprise to see him walk through our Academy door with someone new and it didn’t end there, he developed close relationships and was always mentoring others in their personal journeys.

Our goal is to raise enough money to provide a one-year jiu jitsu scholarship to someone who could truly benefit from it—just as Vin would’ve wanted.

Let’s roll for a purpose and honor Vinny the best way we know how—together on the mats.
