Hello. My name is Serena. I would first like to start by saying any kind of donation made will be tremendously appreciated, but above that, prayers for a safe recovery physically, mentally, and financially are greatly needed. The holiday season is upon us and in this economy it will be a tough one, not just for our family, but many others.
Yesterday evening my brother-in-law Julian found himself pinned between a suburban and the brick wall of his home. Upon guiding his girlfriend to park in his driveway next to him, which is a tight squeeze, her foot slipped causing the truck to continue to accelerate. Julian is now in the hospital with two broken knees, a fractured tibia, and nerve damage that we hope is not permanent. Julian's character is a free spirited 20 year old, who's active/passionate in kickboxing, attends college, and was a big help financially for his mother and younger sister. Due to these unfortunate circumstances Julian will be out of work for as long as the recovery will take, causing his mother in be a serious financial crisis; and depending on the recovery he makes, he may never be able to kickbox again.
My family will be doing everything we can to help out; however, we too will be barely making it by if at all with bills. My fiancé and I recently came to the decision that he needed to stop working and stay home with our newborn, due to low work wages, hours, and work opportunities out there.
We were all suppose to celebrate our Thanksgiving this Sunday due to Everyone's work schedules; however, due to finances and future foreseen tribulations, we have to cancel.
I hope I was able to get across our sincere need for support during these times; and please remember, prayers go a long way in times like these, so please share this link with whomever you can.
