Aloha, my name is Kevin Agustin Simon and I am Roldan Agustin’s cousin. Roldan was just 49 years young when he tragically lost his life when he and his co-worker were fatally shot at Pearl Harbor on December 4, 2019.
Roldan served in the U.S. Navy, retired from the Army National Guard, then became a shop planner with the Department of Defense at Pearl Harbor Navy Shipyard. As a staff sergeant in the Hawaii Army National Guard, Roldan was deployed twice — once to Afghanistan and once to Kuwait — as an aviation maintenance specialist.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. Having grown up in Waipahu, Roldan enjoyed working on cars with his friends and spending time with his family and adored his nieces. We will forever remember Roldan to be humble and honest, and a generous and patient man.
The funds will be used to support the family with expenses and hold a celebration of life ceremony for him.
