On the afternoon of Sunday, January 3, 2021, Roland Rodriguez was involved in a major motorcycle accident while on a ride in downtown Houston. He was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hermann in the Medical Center and placed in ICU on a ventilator; unfortunately, he was unresponsive.
As of Tuesday, January 5, 2021, his condition has improved and he is stable! He is now off of the ventilator, has spoken a few words, is responding to commands from the doctor and squeezing his hand, and was even able to Zoom with his family today. The MRI showed that he has a small fracture on his skull and indicated normal brain activity!! He is scheduled for surgery on his left arm tomorrow (Wednesday 1/6/21).
All great news! He still has a long way to go, therefore we have set up this fund to help with the numerous medical bills he will accumulate over the next few months, monthly bills, and essentials he and his family (Maggie, Myla, and Mia) will need throughout his recovery.
Donations, whether big or small, are very much appreciated during this difficult time! We thank God that he has pulled through this awful accident. Please continue to pray for a safe and fast recovery!
Thank you!!
