Continental FC was founded in 1958, making it one of the oldest Caribbean Football Clubs in the Country.
The Club currently runs 2 Teams, the First Team (Sunday Barnet League) and the Vets (FTB Vets League).
The First Team consists of young adults from the community, who are talented footballers, wanting to not only develop as players but also as individuals and contribute positively to their community.
The Vets are made up of players that have been part of the continental family for many years, some made debuts in their early teens underlining the nature of family, when it comes to this Football Club.Continental is near and dear to many hearts and has become more than just a Sunday League Football Club. It is also a family where players and supporters alike come together to support one another.
The Club has tasted much success since its inception, including winning the London County Cup on three different occasions, Middlesex Cup winners and National cup quarter finalists.
Cup success in the EightiesThe Pledge
We are hoping to raise £5000 to keep this great club alive so we can continue to offer young, budding footballers the mentoring they need to put them on the path to success. Now that lock-down has been lifted, community clubs like ours will be more valuable than ever as we all try to return to normality and continue this legacy.
We welcome all donations and are grateful to anyone with the desire to donate; all contributions are instrumental to the success and survival of the club. Continental FC has been built on the foundation of welcoming anyone regardless of their background. Over the last sixty years, the football club has not only given players a home to play football, but it has created a sense of community and a family where players and supporters alike come together and support each other inside and outside of football games.
London sunday Challenge cup victory 2020/21 seasonWhatever your association to the club in the present or past, we really cannot stress enough how much we appreciate the support from everyone who has supported in the past by attending Continental FC events and anyone who is kind enough and able to support this time around. No amount is too little as all of it will go towards helping a club that is run by goodwill, volunteers and people who want to create opportunities and make a difference.
Thank you.
