Roki of Rockaway Parkway in Brooklyn, NY
Donation protected

UPDATE: Roki had went to hospital the first night to examine him because he was breathing heavy and shivering. He was evaluated visually for free and nothing was wrong from what the vet assumed.
The second vet visit was for spay/neuter, Shots, microchip and flea treatment but I guess the vet like the hospital didn't do any form of minor physical exam because I didn't ask for it which I really don't understand how you can proceed with a procedure under anesthesia, give shots and flea treatment without doing a minor hands on check of the body structure, ears, eyes and throat which only takes a few minutes to see if there is anything wrong visibly when the cat is handled.
Vets have really gone to shit.
Anyway now when Roki is picked you and handled a certain way he gets agitated and strikes in a painful manner.
So now I have to take him to another vet to get checked out thoroughly because it could be anything from a prior fall spine injury to tumor to something done wrong during the spay/neuter.
So I am asking for donations again to cover another vet visit and xrays.
Hi! My name is Henry and I am fundraising for Roki a cat I picked up on Rockaway Parkway in Brooklyn New York today November 15, 2023.
Some of you may know of the rescue sitituation I am involved with trying to save a cat on the Bay Parkway F train subway station which is posted on my Facebook Page Kingdom Iroti involving a cat which I named Washington that was struck by a train severing its paw.
This Gofundme has nothing to do with that except for the fact that the reason I picked up Roki was because it could have been a slight possibly that it was Washington who we believe is lost in Washington Cemetery near the train Station it was hurt on.
It is a complicated story so please refer to my Facebook page for that information.
Note: Roki is not Washington.
Roki was sitting in front of a building entrance on Rockaway Parkway all morning in a corner when I received a call from somebody that saw the post about Washington, and thought it might have been the same cat.
When I picked up Roki s/he was calm and I thought it was a friendly cat and knew I could not leave a friendly on the street and took it.
Inside when I observed Roki I noticed a dazed look on the face as well as a slightly bloody paw but what was my main concern was the heavy breathing pattern.
I dont know what could have caused this or the other issues but I believe s/he needs to see a doctor tomorrow.
Unfortunately my financial status is very bad at the moment and I am out of full time work.
I would like to bring Roki to the veterinarian tomorrow to get checked but do not have the money or any kind of 501c3 Rescue backing me for animals medical bills which I have always paid out of pocket.
I don't have the money for the office visit so am asking for $1,000.00 but hopefully it will not cost that much and I will return all unused donations towards Roki's vet bill which I will post from estimate to final bill paid in full with the veterinarians full name and number so you can confirm legitimacy.
I know it's hard times for alot of people and it is hitting me pretty hard also.
I would prefer getting donations in small amounts between $5 to $10 from alot of people then a large amount from one person because of the tough times but if one person wants to cover the full amount it is fine also I will just halt further donation intake at the amount requested.
Someone said to me recently "You don't know how to be poor" but honestly .............. I've never been rich but I have always and will always be generous to fill a hungry belly, give shelter during a storm, embrace a frightened heart and comfort a wounded soul of any animal, avian or aquatic.
I am the bridge between what is and what can be ...
I am a First Responder.
