Anthony Goes To VEGAS

Over the last years, you all have followed the story of Anthony, the Kart racer. Everybody who knows the family, will not be surprised that Anthony has fuel in his blood, after all he is already third generation of “racers” – but the first who can really do it.
All those years, Mitch worked hard to finance the cars and all the other costs involved. Resolutely, he would reject any help. Obviously as good Dadmum, he was left after Alexandra tragically passing away, he made sure, that school and other little things were not neglected.
He did so too this year. He had done his math well and covered the whole Canadian season. There was one little point. He had not expected Antony doing so well that he would be invited for the “bonus race” of the season in Rok Vegas at the end of October.
Why is Vegas important? It’s the last race for the Junior class across North America. The Junior race is the biggest single race among all the classes. After that, the boys start to go different ways, some cars, some stay longer in kart. As such it gets a lot of attention by scouts and possible sponsors.
All great but there is a harsh reality. A race weekend like Rok Vegas will cost around $8000 and that money is just not there now. Mitch already wanted to consider defeat and let it pass. After intensive discussions, he agreed let’s ask our friends and look for sponsors. Of course, time is short, the race is end of October, so we either raise the money in September or that’s it
So reluctantly, Mitch agreed to ask you, his friends, guys can you help me to move on with our dream?

Rok Vegas was without a doubt the funnest race l've attended. I had a great time in Vegas and improved massively as a driver during my time there. I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to my go fund me campaign. Without everyone who contributed, attending this race would simply not have happened.
However this race was extremely tough and I struggled for pace all weekend. It was tough adapting to a parking lot circuit with such a little amount of practise especially when competing in such a tight field. My pace improved each session out, however time ran out before I was able to find that final 1-2 tenths. Nonetheless | improved alot as a driver and had a ton of fun racing here. I'll be much stronger heading into the next race.
