Rogue Goes to Spring Nationals
Donation protected
Hello family, friends, and more,
We’re happy to announce that Davis Women’s ultimate frisbee team has qualified again to compete in the National’s tournament, this year in Milwaukee during memorial weekend!
Rogue is a special place for so many players as it facilitates learning and growth in a competitive sport context. As a small club sport program, we are fully run through student and coach investment! Despite our humble backgrounds, this team has shown what dedication and hard work can do for a team without the many accolades as other programs.
This years tournament is special, in that, many of our players have never flown out of the state for a frisbee tournament or even been the the mid-west. Since our club doesn’t require players to pay any fees, we are hoping to fundraise money in order to offset some of the costs of housing, transportation, and tournament fees. That being said, times are still difficult and uncertain so we understand that people are not in a state of giving. We want you to know that regardless of any monetary value, we are eternally grateful for your support that we’ve been able to receive this past fall season and this spring season.
We are beyond lucky to have the coaches, players, and families that invest in the Davis Ultimate program. We hope to continue the success we’ve seen in the last few years!
Love,
Rogue
