The Rogue Ensemble Theater Company is a fearless group of emerging artists dedicated to making quality free and affordable theatre in non-traditional, public venues throughout NYC. Founded last year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic by Christine Reisig and Julie Spina, we aimed to create masked, socially-distant theater for a suddenly art-deprived city. After our successful initial season of al fresca Shakespeare, we have reemerged for our summer 2021 season bigger, better, and more ambitious than before, taking on not one, but TWO of the bard's greatest romantic hits in rep: Much Ado About Nothing and Romeo & Juliet.

We are dedicated to fairly compensating our actors and creative team as a means to producing great theatre for all, but we cannot do it without your help! Our shows are completely supported through donations. A fortune, a farthing - whatever you can give will go directly to our talented casts, crews, vendors, and production costs.
