Rogness Family: Loving and Rebuilding

Donation protected
On Thursday, April 16, Peter, Katie, John, Lily, Amalie, Tori, and Louis lost their home and belongings in a devastating fire.

The Rognesses are safe, but nearly everything else was lost — clothing, personal belongings, and the place where their daily life happened. They also lost a beloved cat. (The other two cats are healing at the pet hospital.)

In the immediate aftermath, the reality is both practical and overwhelming. Seven people need clothing, basic supplies, and a place to stay. The children need to return to school and activities with what they need. The family is working to establish some sense of routine and stability after a sudden and disorienting loss.

Insurance will help, but it does not happen quickly and it does not cover everything. There are upfront costs, gaps in coverage, and many day-to-day needs that fall outside of what insurance provides.

This fundraiser is intended to help bridge that gap — to provide immediate support for essentials, temporary housing, and the many unexpected costs that come with starting over.

Any support, whether through giving or sharing, is deeply appreciated.
