Roger’s Best Interests at Heart

Donation protected
On November 21, 2018, Roger suffered a heart attack while coaching his son’s team during basketball practice. He was taken to Memorial Hospital where he was treated with a cardiac stent placement during cardiac catheterization. Roger was very lucky that action was taken immediately and treatment provided quickly to leave him on the road to recovery. However, during the procedure, Roger’s cardiovascular interventionist suspected another issue which was later confirmed through additional testing. The physician found an enlarged aorta (5.8 cm) which will require open heart surgery for repair within the next couple of weeks at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis or risk of aortic aneurysm rupture. Roger has been unable to work in his normal line of business due to the physical demands of the job and is unable to lift more than five pounds since the aneurysm was discovered.
Roger and his family will soon be facing insurmountable medical costs, even after health insurance, in addition to the lack of income for the next few months to allow for the surgery and subsequent recovery period, that will leave their finances devastated.
Please help this family if you are able. I know it would mean the world to them
and take a little bit of pressure off of them during an overwhelming time. Prayers and well wishes are also welcome to help Coach Roger get back on the field where he belongs.
Thank you!
