The Backstory
For 25 years, Terry Jones Rogers and Scott Nienhaus have been entertaining audiences with legendary rock music made famous by The Byrds, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Neil Young, Bob Dylan and more, not to mention their own great original songs. This video is meant to capture the excitement of those performances, expand R&N’s exposure to new audiences and venues, and to showcase the Rogers & Nienhaus 25th Anniversary Concert on November 17, 2018, at the historic Wildey Theatre in Edwardsville, IL.
Why We Need Your Support
If you’ve seen the video for our four-member Byrds tribute band called “Younger Than Yesterday,” you can attest to the video’s high-end production values. We were able to produce the YTY video at a fraction of its actual cost thanks to members of the St. Louis production community who generously volunteered their time and talents, as well as some loyal fans who helped underwrite the out-of-pocket expenses. Some of those same folks are already busily volunteering their efforts to shoot this much-needed R&N video, but – and this is where YOU come in – we still need funds to cover the costs of editing and graphics animation.
What’s In It For You?
Many of you have asked why we don’t perform more often or closer to where you live. Hey, we hear you! But up until now, Rogers & Nienhaus has lacked a video that we could use to promote ourselves to new venues. You can help make it a reality. More About Us
Over the years we’ve been blessed to have many great friends and fans, starting in 1993 in Nashville, TN, expanding as we toured the world, and continuing since 2005 when we moved our base of operations to the St. Louis metro area. We are grateful and overwhelmed by all of your support here in the Midwest and around the globe.
So, on Saturday November 17, 2018, Terry Jones Rogers and Scott Nienhaus – ROGERS & NIENHAUS – will celebrate 25 years of national and international performance with a show at the historic Wildey Theatre in Edwardsville, IL. The show is nearly sold out, but to commemorate this event, we will be recording the show to produce a live CD so that all of our friends and fans can take part in the celebration.
Again, we are deeply grateful to all of you, and also for the talents of so many amazing photographers, artists, and videographers that have captured us on film, photos and canvas through the years. But we know we can’t expect that all professional efforts connected to our new video be donated. That’s the reason for this GoFundMe campaign, to help cover some of the costs related to the arduous hours of video editing required.
Every donation, whatever the size, will make a difference. But time is of the essence. If we can meet our goal by mid-September, we’ll have the ability to complete the video in time to debut it on the big screen at the Wildey Theatre on November 17th.
