Help Roger Get Back Home
Donation protected
It's been more than two years since the devastating roll-over car crash that rendered my brother-in-law Roger Overton a quadriplegic. After a dizzying number of doctor's visits, hospitalizations and physical therapy visits, he and his wife are ready to go home to their beloved house in the California desert and accept their new reality. There's only one problem, medical bills have drained the family bank account and if Roger hopes to go home and get outside, he needs a special off-road wheel chair. The electric chair he has is so heavy it gets stuck in the soft dirt around their home, making venturing out into the desert scape where he has always found solace impossible. And building concrete paths all around their home is cost-prohibitive and limiting. The wheelchair he needs has large, off-road tires and a head array that will allow him to go off-road and drive the wheelchair himself...but it comes at a price...
That's where all of you come in...If we all contribute just a little, we can help Roger and Gail get back home. Their plan is to return to their desert house sometime in the spring. I don't know about you, but as Gail's sister, I would like to do all I can to get them back home. So, please, follow your heart and contribute as you are led. Thank you all so much and lets get Roger back home and back to a life... Love you all!
