On Dec. 23rd, Parametics arrived to my house due to my 2 yr old brother having a seizure, which lasted an hour and a half. The seizure was brought on by a high temperature due to the flu. Upon arriving to the hospital the doctors could not stop the seizure so he was put into a medically induced coma and air lifted to Orange County childrens hospital, where he stayed until Christmas morning.
Jr. was discharged on the 25th, with limited use of his arms and legs. The following morning, Monday, we noticed that he could no longer see and he had a 103 temperature. My mother took him to the nearby hospital, the doctors told her that he was having a seizure in his brain.  Jr. was given medication to stop the seizure, and to put his brain to sleep. He was then trasfered by abulance back to Orange County Childrends Hospital.
This Tuesday morning 12/27/16 at 4am, at the hospital, Jr. had another seizure which caused him to stop breathing, and caused his brain to start swelling.  Fluid  from his spine was tested and came back positive for influenza in the brain. He is currently in a medically induced coma. 
Roger Jr is the baby of 6 siblings, making us a family of 9!  Please, if theres anything you can do for my parents we would be greatful.
I'm sorry my parents cant get to everyones calls and texts, but all of your concerns and positive thoughts are truly appreciated!!

Roger and Nancy can use all of the support they can get at this time. Prayers, positive thoughts and donations of any amount will help the family in this time of need. All that is donated will be used for the family's loss of income, travel costs, houshold bills and mortgage on their home.
