Please Help Me Save Baby Rogerina

At the end of October, tiny Rogerina came into my life in the most heartbreaking way she was facing being put to sleep at only four months old because of a severe anal prolapse. I couldn’t stand the thought of her life ending before it even began, so I took her in, hoping I could give her a chance.

We tried everything we could. After her first prolapse, she had a purse-string suture placed, and for a little while, we dared to hope she’d be okay. But a month later, it happened again… and this time, it was even worse.

Today, she needed an urgent, major surgery to save her. Her intestines had to be internally tacked to prevent future prolapses an expensive, complex procedure that absolutely couldn’t wait. To give her the best chance and limit how many times she has to go under anaesthetic, she’s also being spayed during the same operation.

I wish I could say I was prepared for this, but I’m not.

I’m just a one-man band with fundraising all on my own it’s so mentally draining and I’m constantly in a state of anxiety not being able to pay out bills. We already struggle to cover the normal bills… let alone something this sudden, this urgent, and this costly.

But what was I supposed to do? She’s just a baby. She wants to play, to love, to grow. She deserves the chance to live.

That’s why I’m asking truly, humbly asking for help.
