Our brother, Roger, died suddenly on the morning of his 32nd birthday, November 13, 2016. He leaves behind his parents, Roger "Jack" and Sherre; his sisters, Erin and Caitlin; his aunts and uncles, baby neice, Violet; his nana, a stepfamily, many cousins, and countless friends. While Roger may have left this world too soon, we will forever hold him in our memories as a kind, genuine and honest man. We can be comforted to know his fun-loving spirit will live on through his niece, Violet. We hope that he was greeted on Sunday by the family gone before him, to celebrate his birthday in style.
Our immediate family is shattered, not just emotionally, but spread all over the country. His mother lives in New England, our cousins, aunts and uncles are split between Massachusetts and California. In order to allow everyone time to make travel arrangements and to avoid the hustle and associated expense of the holiday season, we have decided to hold the memorial service on January 21, 2017. It will be from 11a-1p at Brett's Funeral Home in Roger's hometown of St. Petersburg, Florida. 

We are asking our family and friends to donate what they can to assist with the immediate cost for cremation and Roger's forthcoming memorial services which will be directly arranged for by Erin, her mother and our father and subsequently paid for by the funds we raise. In this time of grief, we cannot allow something as trivial as limited financial means stop our family from coming together to celebrate the life of Roger John Fontecchio, II. Thank you all for anything you can give, we are eternally grateful for your love and condolences at this difficult time.
