Roger Thurgood passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 17th, 2020.  He was a quiet, gentle, and kind man.  He deeply loved his wife, Shawnell Thurgood, along with his 6 children, 2 sons in-law, and 2 grandchildren.  He was absolutely dedicated and loyal to his faith, family, and community.  He and Shawnell have worked hard all their life and took pride in doing so earning the loyalty and love of hundreds of clients through the operation of their business, Thurgood Plumbing.  He will be remembered as man of faith, a man of honor, a man of honesty, a man of loyalty, and man of respect.  He loved fishing so much, especially fishing at Flaming Gorge.  We will all miss him very much.  We will miss his smile, his passion for fishing, his love of God, and his dedication to his family and church.  He suffered most of his adult life with multiple illnesses including cancer so having a life insurance policy was not possible.  They have had one life altering event after the other and they have always overcame together.  This is something Shawnell will need to endure without his help so she absolutely needs all of our help.  She will not only need help immediately with funeral costs but will need continued help in transitioning away from his integral role as the center of their business.    Any help large or small will be greatly and deeply appreciated.
