Roger Plumb Memorial
Donation protected
Roger Plumb has been a scout leader at the 24th Hastings scout group for 56years. In this time he has helped so many young people through their scouting career. Many old scouts thank him to this day for the skills and knowledge he has taught them to take on throughout their lives.
He was also a German school teacher at the formerly known as Hastings Grammar school for boys and then William Parker School from 1964-1995.
Throughout his life he was a inspiration to many. Due to the current Covid restrictions he can only have a very small gathering to say their goodbyes at his funeral, however many more people will wish to pay their respects. This is why we have set up this fund to raise money for Roger so that in the summer we can all pay our final respects to him with a memorial ceremony and reflect on how he has touched so many lives.
Current scouts, parents and family along with friends and previous members can donate to this cause and will be contacted once this has been arranged.
