Roger E. Ward Memorial Motorcycle

Donation protected
Roger Elgin Ward's dream motorcycle journey was never
realized, as the 21-year-old soldier lost his life in the Vietnam War. He and
childhood friend Bill Haynes had planned to save money during their
military service to buy motorcycles and travel across the country together.
After Roger's death, Haynes created a rolling tribute in the form of a
motorcycle dedicated to his fallen friend, honoring not only Roger's
memory and sacrifice, but also commemorating all the fallen brothers
from the 1st Cavalry Division and others who died defending their country.
Our mission now is to ensure every veteran gets the opportunity to
experience the rolling tribute for themselves by bringing it to events across the country.
