My Uncle and Godfather, John Huempfner, lost his short but chivalrous battle with stomach cancer on September 29th, 2020.  He had a zest for life, family, the Lord, the outdoors, and woodworking. A sample of his tremendous skill in woodworking can be seen in this ring holder below that he made for Loren's and my wedding. His wish was to have donations sent to Roger Cliffe Memorial Foundation, where 100% of proceeds assist students who cannot afford to attend the Marc Adams School of Woodworking. All proceeds from this GoFundMe will be donated directly to the Roger Cliffe Memorial Foundation in John's name.

Upon hearing John's diagnosis, I had a vision to create something for him. Him and my Aunt Mona always made it a point to support my dance career, and I was moved thinking of the number of times they traveled to see me perform throughout the years. I contacted a few close friends, and was able to see my vision come to life with their help. We were not planning to see so much wild life on our drive to the filming location.....if you know my Uncle John, you know how much he appreciated wildlife so I had to include it in the film. I had a version in my hands a few short hours after filming - John was able to view it with family by his side shortly before his passing. The film is about different journeys through time, and picking someone up when they cannot stand alone. John's family is a perfect example of how they lift each other up during this difficult time. Hold your loved ones closer, never take advantage of time, and always silently be there for those that need you.
