Hi my name is Matthew Stack.
I am reaching out today with a heartfelt request for support for my dear Father, Roger, and my
Mother, Sue, who are facing an incredibly challenging situation following the devastation caused by Cyclone Alfred.
As many of you may know, Roger and Sue have always been there for others, offering kindness and generosity throughout their lives. However, they now find themselves in need of our help. The powerful winds of Cyclone Alfred caused a large fig tree to topple over, causing severe structural damage to their home, including a compromised ceiling that has made the house uninhabitable.
For many years, Roger worked as a bricky, and he and Sue have done their best to maintain their home and live within their means. However, like so many others, they have struggled to keep up with the rising cost of living, which led to them having to forgo house insurance—leaving them without coverage in this tragic event.
At 65 years old, Roger is no longer able to repair the house on his own, and the cost of rebuilding is beyond their means. They are now left in a difficult position, with nowhere to turn but to the kindness and support of friends, family, and compassionate individuals like yourself.
We are organising a fundraising effort to help them rebuild their home and restore some stability to their lives. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in helping to cover the costs of repairs and the rebuilding process.
If you are able, we would be so grateful for your contribution to help mum and dad through this difficult time. You can make a donation directly to this go fundme, and if you are unable to contribute financially, we would also appreciate your help in spreading the word to others who may be willing to support this cause.
Thank you so much for your time, generosity, and compassion. Your support means the world to my family, and it will go a long way in helping my mother and father rebuild their home and their lives after this devastating storm.
With sincere gratitude,
Matthew Stack.
