Support the Funeral of a Purple Heart Veteran
Tax deductible
Battle Borne has recently lost a man we consider a part of our extended family and are making an exceptional request to our community, family, friends, and followers for help!
Today, we are reaching out to our community in order to support the unexpected funeral expenses of Roger Albanese, a 75-year-old Vietnam veteran and Purple Heart recipient. Roger passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, February 13th, leaving behind his loving wife of 25 years, Jennifer Albanese. As a community, we want to honor Roger's legacy and support his family during this difficult time.
Roger bravely served our country during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart medal for his valor and service. After his service, he had a successful career in the automotive industry and later worked as a groundskeeper for the Jewish Community Center Summer Camp in Center Valley before retiring in 2010. Roger was an avid fisherman, a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, and was known for making his homemade pasta.
Roger's sudden passing has caused a significant financial burden for his wife, Jennifer, who is now faced with unexpected funeral expenses. This is where we, as a community, can step in and show our support for the Albanese family. By contributing to this GoFundMe campaign, you will help cover the costs of Roger's funeral, allowing Jennifer to grieve without the added financial burden. Interment with Military Honors will be held privately at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Your donation, no matter how small, will help make a difference and show our appreciation for Roger's service to our country. It will also provide a measure of comfort to Jennifer during this difficult time. Please consider donating to this worthy cause and honoring the life and service of Roger Albanese.
Roger & Jennifer are part of our extended NorthBound & Co. family and the direct impact of this loss hits close to home. Since inception, Battle Borne and NorthBound have been sister organizations that have supported one another in good times and in bad. This campaign is unique, as it is a gesture we thought we’d never have to make, but one of our own has fallen so we feel it is necessary.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
