Hello friends and family.

As many of you know, my dad lives in Morales Izabal, Guatemala. Sadly about 10 years ago, he was sent back to his country and we have been physically separated.  We are very tight knit throughout the distance.
My dad due these circumstance grew very ill over these past 10 years and we have tried our best to help him keep healthy.
This Father’s Day he was taken to the hospital due to pain in his stomach.
We later found out he had an ulcer that had exploded and perforated many of his organs. My mom and I have sent some aid but we fear it will not be enough to cover medical costs. Seeking medical help is not cheap in Guatemala and my grandmother and cousin are his only close family out there. We hope that you, our family and friends, will answer to the call and help us out with anything you can.

We hope to get through this and soon be reunited. Thank you all for you help!

Hola a todos nuestra familia y amigos.

Como muchos de ustedes saben, mi papá vive en Morales Izabal, Guatemala. Tristemente hace 10 años fuimos separados. A pesar de la distancia seguimos muy unidos. Debido a todas esta circunstancias, mi papá se llegó a enfermar en estos 10 años. Hemos tratado lo mejor en ayudarlo para que mejorara su salud.
Este día de los padres, mi papá llegó a sentir un dolor muy fuerte en su estómago. Lo llevaron al hospital y fuimos informados que tuvo una úlcera que explotó en su estómago y perforó muchos órganos. Mi mamá y yo hemos enviado ayuda pero sentimos que no va ser suficiente para cubrir gastos médicos. La ayuda médica en Guatemala es un poco cara y por eso esperamos que ustedes, nuestras amistades, familia, atiendan al llamado. Si está en sus posibilidades ayudar con lo que puedan estaríamos muy agradecidos.
