Roebuck Landing Fire Recovery: Donate Now

Donation protected
Hello all! We are devastated to share that our beloved Roebuck Landing Grill & Grocery burned to the ground last night, April 7th. The restaurant and contents are a total loss. We are extremely grateful for Akron Fire Department, Greensboro Fire Department, Sawyerville Fire Department, Stewart-Havana Fire Department, and the Hale County Sheriff's Department for their quick response and attempts to save our “Little Hole in The Wall.” We are extremely grateful that no one was injured and the surrounding homes were unaffected!

Roebuck Landing is an iconic landmark in this tri-county area, having been here since the 1960s. Many of its customers have grown up visiting here, bought bait and gone fishing with their families, stopped after a long day of hunting, or drank a cold one with their best pals. My mom has owned Roebuck Landing for almost 7 years now. She has melded those traditions with her own. It was the place to go in the middle of nowhere to get a cold beer, a fantastic steak, and the best catfish around.

We thank all those who have reached out; we appreciate the outpouring of love and support and cannot express the thankfulness we have in our hearts! While this is a difficult time, we are looking to what lies ahead. Any funds that are donated, we will be using for our cleanup efforts.

P.S.~ Our roosters Ferdinand and Francisco are doing well.

With Love,
The Roebuck Family
