Rod’s Memorial Fund

Rod Dimayuga, talented visual effects artist and devoted family man, died tragically in a scuba diving accident in Squamish, BC, Canada. We’re raising funds to help his loved ones cover expenses as they transition to life without him. Rod was one of the most respected senior animators in the Vancouver community. He was a soft-spoken, humble man with a wry sense of humour who greeted everyone with a vibrant smile. He was very generous with his technical knowledge, keen to help anyone without hesitation. He spoke often of his love of the oceans and dreamed of sharing more diving adventures with his beloved wife. Rod was quiet but his celebratory spirit came through in his music, his passion for cooking and all his interactions with his friends and colleagues. We will miss him dearly. Thank you for helping us honour Rod’s memory.
